Policy & Procedures

Among the many images that are taken during a session, whether it be a small individual shoot, or a day long wedding, there are always going to be those not-so-attractive shots with eyes closed, blurred shots or even those looking in the opposite direction than everyone else shots. You know the shots!

It is the objective of Tom Carr Photography to produce the best possible images from each session. In order to narrow down the selection that our clients will have to choose from, Tom Carr Photography reserves the right to choose which images are to be selected for the clients review in the online gallery.

Once the selection of images has been made by the photographer, the client will then have an opportunity to review the selected images via a secure online gallery. In the event you need any retouching, those services are provided at a price set in the cart section of the gallery. There is also a free digital album available to share and view your favorite images at any time. A link will be provided to your gallery once your images are ready.

Applicable deposits are due at the time of scheduling to confirm and reserve your date. The balance of your session fee is due prior to the beginning of the session.

The print prices at the time of your booking are guaranteed for the duration of your allotted gallery time (30 days). In the event your gallery expires without you placing an order, there will be a $25 fee to renew it. Once a gallery is re-hosted after expiration, it will be subject to the current rates at the time of the gallery renewal. Please make every effort to place orders in a timely fashion. In the interest of fairness to all of my clients, print prices are non-negotiable.

All gallery portrait orders are subject to a $120 minimum purchase. However, we offer a $50 print credit with all galleries for orders placed within 30 days. Any other discounts cannot be used in conjunction with this print credit. Please allow only one discount per order/per customer.

PayPal or Credit Card payments are recommended. There will be a 10 day processing time for any personal checks rendered as payment for services. We accept corporate, computer generated checks for commercial work. Please make checks payable to Tom Carr. $25 fee for insufficient funds.

Any discounts cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotional offer or already discounted packages.

Cancellation Policy: In the event of any unforeseen reason you should have to cancel your session, a minimum of 24 hours advance notice is required to prevent a $25 rescheduling fee being applied. Clients failing to show up on time for their appointment may be subject to cancellation and a $25 rescheduling fee due to conflicts with other appointments. Your session begins at the time of your scheduled appointment, not after all parties involved in the session have arrived.

Refund Policy: Session fee deposits/payments are only refundable within 24 hours from the purchase date provided that it is no sooner than 30 days from your scheduled session time. Non-refundable session fee deposits/payments may be applied to future print/product purchases, but may not be used in conjunction with any other promotional offer or discount. A 25% processing fee will be deducted from all portrait, wedding and event deposits in the event there is a cancellation after 24 hours no sooner than 30 days from your scheduled appointment. Failure to notify Tom Carr Photography in writing within 30 days of your scheduled session will result in forfeiture of your entire deposit/payment.
